Convocation 2010 is designed to engage all believers, clergy and lay, into an in-depth study of the Kingdom of God. As Pastors and Church Leaders we have been called to make Disciples of Christ. Many of us have been given authority, by ordination or appointment to leadership position but lack the faith and power to effectively do ministry in the 21st Century.
The disciples asked Jesus in Chapter Seventeen of the Gospel of Matthew, “Why could we not cast him out?” They were given the authority to heal and cast out demons in Chapter Ten of Matthew, but in Chapter Seventeen they failed because authority alone does not effect change.
When you leave this Convocation you will have the tools to execute the authority given to you as disciples in the Kingdom; to provide new millennium ministries that will transform your communities and churches. Our theme “Empowering Kingdom Leaders for the Future” encompasses an analysis of:
- What is Kingdom Preaching, Kingdom Stewardship and Kingdom Living?
- How do you prepare for future Ministry in the Kingdom?
Plus much more! Get ready for exciting and excellent preaching, teaching and singing from some of the premier preachers, workshop presenters and psalmists in the Kingdom.
